These scholarships are open to both members and non-members. This scholarship is a great opportunity to support a deserving student's dream. The Scholarship Recipients will be announced during the 10:00 Sunday Graduation Day Service.
Students will be awarded funding between ($1,000.00 - $2,000.00) per student scholarship to be split between the Fall 2024 and Spring 2025 semesters.
Scholarship for graduating high school seniors are Shiloh members who plan to continue their education at two or four-year institutes of higher learning, vocational, technical, or trade school.
Eligibility Criteria:
Be a member of Shiloh Baptist Church
Present a letter of acceptance from an accredited four or two-year institution of higher learning, vocational, technical, or trade school for Fall Semester 2024.
Submit an essay (300 words or less) describing the impact of your Christian Experience and how it will help you to meet your personal goals. Essays should be submitted to scholarships@shiloh-bc.org
Complete a College Profile Information Form and submit it with your 2024 Scholarship Application and Essay.

A one-time $500.00 scholarship for a college upperclassmanwho has excelled in academia, persevered through challenges, and met agreed-upon college ministry requirements.
Eligibility Criteria:
Must maintain a 3.0 cumulative GPA or higher
Must participate in multiple activities (i.e., work, Student Govt, Community Service, etc.)
Must remain connected with SBC (social media) and communicate with B3 student ministries throughout the year.
Must complete College Year Debrief to be shared with graduating HS Seniors to pay it forward
Must be continuing their education at a two or four-year institution of higher learning, vocational, technical, or trade school in the Fall Semester of 2024.

A one-time $500.00 scholarship to a graduating high school senior from Alexandria City or a neighboring Alexandria City private high school.
Eligibility Criteria:
Must Participate in Community Service Outreach Program/Activities
Must live in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Northern Virginia
May have a financial need
Must be accepted into a two or four-year institution of higher learning, vocational, technical, or trade school.
Award MUST be used for Fall Semester of 2022
