Join us as we discuss the
historical, cultural and theological implications of education and Christian
Education in the Black Church on May 8, 15, 22, June 5, 12 from 10:00am -
1:00p.m. in the SMCC Multipurpose area. Our text: The Mis-Education of the
Negro by Carter G. Woodson. This course is open to ANYONE interested in
attending. Books can be purchased in the Shiloh Bookstore.

invite you to attend Church School. Classes are being offered during the
9:30am and 11:00am Church School Hour.
9:30 Hour
Classes are offered for Children ages 2-12, Teenagers and Adults in the
SMCC.
11:00 Hour
Peace & Power, Donyelle McCray, Discussion Leader
Peace & Power is a Discussion Group that will explore the Christian
foundations of Just War Theory. Topics will include: "Loving Your
Enemies" in an Age of Conflict The Requirements of Just War: When Are
They Met? Individuals and Communities as Agents for Peace Love, Justice &
Mercy in a World at War
Our Discussion Group will respond to selected passages of scripture,
statements of early Christian thinkers and secular teachers, and enjoy food
and fellowship. The group will meet each Sunday in April.
