1400 Duke Street Update

Join us on Sunday, October 16 a brief informational meeting after each worship service. At the meeting we will be presented with information pertaining to the 1400 Duke Street property. 


New Parking Guidelines

  • Please do not park in the spaces located at the corner of Duke & West Street.
  • Please do not park in the area at the Duke Street entrance.
  • Do not block warehouse doors on either side of the building.
  • Additional public parking is located on Duke Street headed north from 7AM-2PM Sunday only.
  • Additional public parking is located on Jamieson Avenue in front of the Worship Center.

Join us on Sunday for a brief informational meeting with our lawyers from McGuire Woods regarding 1400 Duke Street. Additionally, we will have a letter writing campaign after each worship service to express your disapproval of a restaurant at 1400 Duke Street.  We are asking everyone, especially residents of the City of Alexandria, to write letters to the City Council and to the Planning Commission. You may address your letters to following persons:

Remember to join us November 1st at City Hall located 301 King Street, Alexandria, VA 22314 at 7:00p.m. for the Planning Commission Hearing expressing your disapproval of the Special Use Permit (SUP) for the proposed restaurant at 1400 Duke Street.

At the hearing you may do the following.

  • We can speak at this hearing
  • Each speaker is limited to 3 minutes
  • Please click here to access the guide for speaking at the Planning Commission.  This information is applicable to the City Council as well

If the Planning Commission approves the SUP, a Public Hearing will be held with the City Council on November 12th at 9:30 am at the same location.


Children's Church will be in session at 1429 Duke Street during the 11:00 am service.

Classes for children, youth and adults are available after the 8:00 am service. Children and youth classes are held in 1429 Duke Street and adult classes are held in the Worship Center.

Rehearsals for the Men’s Day Choir are underway. There is still time to join

Saturday—November 12th at 10am—Worship Center

The Men's Fellowship is also collecting new or gently used suits, shoes, business and business casual clothing for the men at Catholic Charities. All donations are welcome and should be placed in the boxes in the vestibule of the Worship Center.
